A saturated solution in pure water has a solubility of 1.8 mg/mL. It is easily soluble in methanol, slightly soluble in ethanol, and sparingly soluble in isopropanol.

A hundred and fifty mg capsule for oral administration contains 172.95 mg dabigatran etexilate mesylate that is corresponding to a hundred and fifty mg of dabigatran etexilate, and also the following inactive ingredients: tree, dimethicone, hypromellose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, talc, and tartaric acid.

The capsule shell consists of carrageenin, FD&C Blue No.2 (150 mg only), FD&C Yellow No.6, hypromellose, potassium chloride, titanium dioxide, and black edible ink.

The seventy-five mg capsule contains eighty six.48 mg dabigatran etexilate mesylate, corresponding to seventy-five mg dabigatran etexilate, and is otherwise just like a hundred and fifty mg capsule.
